The Truth is a Cave in the Black Mountains by Neil Gaiman (2014 Fiction)

The brilliant illustrations and the intermixing of pictures and text make this novel seem like a rich chocolate dessert, one which you take in small bites and slowly savor each one. So rich is the mixture that it quickly draws you into the tale based on a legend from the Isle of Skye. It is only 73 pages long, but you nevertheless are sated by the end.
