I’m happy to share the news that our Board of Directors is now complete! Nancy Hollister has been appointed to be a Director-atLarge. Nancy works regularly in the bookstore. She has lots of positive energy, and we all look forward to working with her. You can read more about Nancy in another column in this newsletter. Welcome, Nancy!
Our summer book sale is coming up on August 16, 17 and 18. Be sure to stop by and browse our huge selection of books, both fiction and non-fiction. And in the meantime, don’t forget to visit the bookstore when you are at the library. The store always has a lovely selection of books. Whether you are looking for a book for yourself or need to buy a gift, you will find something of interest. The books in the store are in excellent condition at a very reasonable price. And the dollars spent in the bookstore directly fund the many wonderful programs offered at our terrific Castro Valley Library!
